In both the Windows and Mac platforms, iListBox uses standard operating system compliant installers. This means you can easily uninstall the program once it has been installed.
iListBox is Non Bloating Software
iListBox is a self-contained application. iListBox doesn't use the Window's Registry, DLLs, run double secret processes in the Task Manager, run sneaky programs at startup, or rely on shared window's services you may or may not have installed. This means while the iListBox program is a bigger application, it won't contribute to making your computer run slower.
If I Download and Install iListBox, Does it Load Any Other Software on My Computer?
No. Nothing but iListBox gets installed. No special offers. No other icons on your desktop. Nothing other than the program.
During the Install, Does iListBox Modify Any Other Software I Might Have Loaded on My Computer?
No. iListBox doesn’t touch any of your existing software applications. The standard Windows installer doesn't change any preferances you many have already set on your computer.
Will My Computer Catch a Virus or Get Spyware by Downloading the Trial and Using iListBox
No. Hopefully you have both virus and spyware protection on your computer, but they are not needed for iListBox. Regardless, all of these kinds of programs are 100% compatible with iListBox.
If I have a Firewall, Will I have Trouble Using iListBox
No. But the better the Firewall programs will notice when the iListBox software contacts with its servers over the Internet. This is normal, if you choose to block such access, that’s ok too. But we recommend you let iListBox communicate over the internet, this way you get to use iListBox’s Internet dependent features.
If All I Want to do is Try the Software, Do I Have to Buy Anything?
No. You are under no obligation to purchase iListBox ever. We don’t need to know your name or e-mail address. You can remain totally anonymous. If you don’t like the software, you can easily uninstall it.
For the Trial, Do I need to Share Any Personal Information?
No. As a new iListBox user, all that is required after you download the software is provide the software with four pieces of required data the first time it runs: 1) The language you speak, 2) A screen name you choose, 3) Your sex (male or female), and 4) Your birthday. The software needs to know your birth date so it can calculate your age. One feature of the software is age protection on certain types of lists you may choose to share with other iListBox members. But of course this sharing of lists is completely optional.
Do I have so Share with you My Name and My Credit Card Information?
We will only need to know you name and credit card information when you decide to purchase a membership.
